We are currently seeking a Director of Information Systems & Security to oversee our data center operations, primarily focused on Dell servers running Windows and a cloud-first approach emphasizing Azure. This pivotal role necessitates extensive technical acumen and adept leadership in guiding a talented team of system administrators, network engineers, and cybersecurity experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the formulation, execution, and enforcement of a thorough information security strategy to safeguard all systems against the continually evolving landscape of cybersecurity threats.
- Manage and deploy essential security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions, ensuring comprehensive protection across data centers and cloud platforms.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate security weaknesses, actively leading incident response efforts during security breaches.
- Supervise the hands-on setup, configuration, and management of Dell servers in both physical and virtual contexts, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Oversee cloud environment management, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to security best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and foster a collaborative culture among teams of system administrators, cloud engineers, and cybersecurity professionals.
- Manage large IT projects, including data center upgrades and cloud migrations, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Required Skills
- Over 10 years of robust experience in system administration and data center operations with a focus on Dell servers in a Windows environment.
- Strong proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and hands-on experience in managing virtual machines.
- Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and hands-on expertise in vulnerability assessments, incident response, and compliance standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure, with a strong grasp of cloud security best practices.
- Excellent communication abilities to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in cybersecurity, cloud computing, or system administration are required.
- Proven experience in leading IT teams and managing large-scale IT projects is essential.

Work Location:
